The UK government is "encouraging furloughed employees to undertake training"

The recent government advice, is to utilise the time to prepare for the return back to work.
"Furloughed employees can engage in training during hours which you record your employee as being on furlough, as long as in undertaking the training the employee does not provide services to, or generate revenue for, or on behalf of their organisation or a linked or associated organisation. Furloughed employees should be encouraged to undertake training."

Frequently asked questions

Can I train whilst furloughed?

Yes, employees are allowed to train whilst furloughed. Using this period to develop your team’s skills whilst avoiding post-lockdown training will allow your team to hit the ground running upon return.

In response to this digital demand we have moved a selection of our usual classroom based courses to a tutor-led digital environment.

Come back from Covid prepared, trained and ready to work.

Are the courses accredited?

Look out for the City and Guilds logo on all of our accredited courses, this is an industry recognised qualification across the UK, providing you with the formal recognition of the skills and knowledge you will gain from our courses.

How are your courses structured?

We have put a great deal of effort into making sure our remote learning courses are not the generic pre-recorded slideshows. Instead our courses incorporate a range of teaching techniques, including real-life scenarios, videos, and assessments, all delivered by a professional presenter to guide you through the course.
